This was a long project that got delayed until Christmas of a Covid Year, which really added additional challenges. To get to Musandam area by car, you have to cross road borders twice so imagine all the paperwork with Covid tests that had to be within 24 hours! It was still a fascinating project meeting the people and hearing the stories and language of Kemzar.

The Research Council of Oman was conducting research on a very unique language called Kemzari, in a remote village called Kemzar only accessible by boat at the time. This was a documentary to record some of the stories in Kemzari and to cover some of the research that was being done.
